Welcome back to Sturdy’s November highlight. Due to the FTX meltdown, this month has been very challenging for the crypto industry as a whole. Following its continued domino effect in CeFi, CEXs received greater doubts and lost credibility throughout the ecosystem. However, this scenario does shed light on DeFi’s distinct advantage of making crypto more accessible and secure for everyone. Sturdy has been insulated from the current crisis, with no bad debt or risk of bad debt. The beautiful thing about DeFi is that you don’t have to take our word for it since everything is transparent and on-chain!

As we have long advocated for, Sturdy is decentralized, non-custodial, and operated on smart contracts; the Sturdy team will always keep striving to reshape DeFi lending brick by brick. To look further, we can’t wait to unveil Sturdy 1.0 in December!

Integration of Feeless flash loans

Our one-click leverage feature has gained increasing traction, and we have made an improvement to the feature, powered by Balancer’s zero-free flash loan, to make it an even better tool to leverage.

With the new integration, users will easily gain 10x leverage while avoiding costly transactions. The loan and repayment actions will be combined into a single transaction click.

Sturdy Content contest

As Sturdy 1.0 approaches, we’ve just launched a new content contest on Layer3 to incentivize users to amplify Sturdy’s unique mechanics for educational purposes. We’re taking this opportunity to give away Sturdy hoodies to the top three winners and an additional $100 in USDC to the first-prize winner! Read the rules and grab your swag now.

Research — A deep dive into Sturdy

Juan Pellicer from IntoTheBlock published an in-depth research article on Sturdy and highlighted the differences between Sturdy and other leverage yield farming protocols (such as Alpha homora v2 and Gearbox).

Community — bizyugo

Sturdy has been able to cultivate a thriving community even without a token. This month we’d like to give a shout-out to @bizyugo, a Sturdy power user who has been using the protocol since the early days, for presenting his analysis of the mechanism and use cases. You should absolutely check it out.
